Mentoring

First, we’ll set clear goals. During our regular face-to-face meetings, I'll assign you tasks to help move your work forward and review your drafts within one to two weeks, depending on their length, leading up to our next session. I'll provide specific feedback to help strengthen your manuscript. I’ll also recommend books that adopt alternative perspectives, and together we’ll discuss relevant ideas from these texts to see how they have shaped the books we are analysing. This will present you with new tools to use or avoid, based on what aligns with your vision.

If you are unsure about what to write and need help finding a topic to explore, I will give you a questionnaire to zone in on your passions and interests. We'll start there and map a path towards your future manuscript.
